Medical Records, Demand Letters & Personal-Injury Tools

AI that retrieves and summarizes medical records, builds the chronology and drafts the demand package for personal-injury practices.

The 15 tools here split into four kinds. Three price medical record review by the page: InPractice at $150 for 1,000 pages ($0.15/page) with no per-user charge; Lexmata from $0.10/page for OCR and search to $0.30/page with medical summaries; and Lexitas Record Insights at an introductory $0.25/page, with the first chronology free after a demo. Six are AI platforms for plaintiff firms that build the chronology and draft the demand from the case file: EvenUp, Eve, Supio, Anytime AI and Tavrn, which also retrieves the records, all priced by quote, and Novo, which has a free plan. Three live inside a personal-injury case-management system: Lexee AI inside CloudLex, by quote; MedChron by Filevine, by quote; and Neos Demands Plus, an add-on to Neos plans that start at $109/user/mo billed yearly, with the add-on itself quoted. Three come from litigation-support companies: Asabell by Compex, U.S. Legal Support RecordSummary Pro and Expert iQ by Expert Institute, which pairs chronologies with expert witness search; all three are quoted.

Across the set the AI reads typed and handwritten records, sorts them by provider and date, extracts encounters, diagnoses and charges with a link to the source page, flags treatment gaps and billing discrepancies, builds the chronology and drafts the demand letter in the structure of the firm's past demands, and several add a chat over the file. Five of the 15 post a price, from a free plan and $0.10/page to $109/user/mo billed yearly, and ten are quoted; every figure was read on the vendor's own site on October 31, 2026. Six of the 15 vendors post that client data is not used to train their AI models and name a standard: Asabell by Compex, Neos Demands Plus, Supio and U.S. Legal Support RecordSummary Pro name SOC 2 Type II, and Anytime AI and InPractice name HIPAA; EvenUp, Expert iQ by Expert Institute, Lexitas Record Insights, MedChron by Filevine and Tavrn post a SOC 2 statement but no statement about training. Anytime AI, Novo, Supio and Tavrn list Smokeball as an integration, Novo and Supio list MyCase, Tavrn lists Clio, and EvenUp, Novo and Supio list CASEpeer.
